so…looking back it was an 11 year.
my first tour in Ireland fun times with Jukebox Gypsy from Liverpool
my first real tour in Germany
headlining at the Copenhagen Songwriter Festival
really proud of my nephews: Jason for coming home with honors from
a dangerous tour in Afghanistan, Christopher surviving a bullet in Iraq.
Zachary for his first girlfriend and Dylan for graduating high school with honors getting into the film program at USC and making some cool shorts with my tunes.
it was wonderful mostly to make the Phil Ochs CD with Cindy…toping the FOLK CHART at #2 just under Gillian Welsh but Cindy’s her marriage went chapter 11 at the love bank now the dust is settling - we just need some lemon pledge -
So to celebrate the new year will be the new Sam Weiser CD releasing on January 10, 2012 which i produced and then i am back in the studio to produce a CD for the New Jersey duo Virago. I will be back in Holland and Germany in late March and early April then to upstate New York with the Sonny Ochs Troupe doing the songs of Phil Ochs. In February and on International Disappear Fear Day February 18 i will do a short tour with the disappear fear band of Susan Charnley on bass, Cyndi Fink on electric lead guitar and Debbie Flood on drums we will perform DC, Richmond and Easton MD. The summer is still brewing- so- here’s to 2012
enjoying wonderful champagne with friends and finding reasons to live into John Lennon’s words of Imagine.
